I was at a diner with my wife. At the table next to us, there was a couple who were wearing tattered clothes. They ordered 1 dinner and planned to share it because they had only enough money for 1. The waiter brought them 2 of the same dinners by mistake. He said "Oops, my mistake. Enjoy!" He GMH.
Today my flight was 100% full. As we left, clapping started in the rear of the plane and the stewardess escorted a returning soldier up to first class. A business man had seen him and requested to switch. He traded his 1st class seat for a middle seat in a last row. His generosity GHM.
I was at an electronics store when I saw an employee playing Mario Kart with a little boy. They were sharing a single controller, working together to play the game. The boy had only one arm and wouldn't have been able to play the game otherwise. The boy's smile was a mile wide. Those two GMH.
My younger brother, who I only see twice a month, once asked me to teach him the alphabet in sign language. After working hard all day, he had mastered it. My dad later told me that a new girl came to my brother's school and was deaf. It made him sad that she had no friends, so he wanted to reach out to her. He was only six. My baby brother GMH.
